Community Involvement

We have always believed that our role is to act as Stewards of the resources entrusted to us and use them to help make our Community a better place.

We have consistently given a significant percentage of our income and used our Miura Challenge Grant to help involve and encourage our clients and friends in giving and supporting our community as well.

Since 2010, the annual Miura Challenge Grant has raised over $800,000 for groups like Mobile Loaves and Fishes, Communities in Schools, SAFE, Peoples Community Clinic, Foundation Communities, Generation Serve, Caritas, Capital Area Food Bank, and Any Baby Can.

The Miura Family and The Miura Group are honored to be supporters of:

Board Member of Any Baby Can

Any Baby Can is an unbelievable organization that impacts thousands of children throughout our community in ways that few others ever do. From childhood cancer, to collaborating with teen moms during pregnancy, to early childhood development, Any Baby Can touches those often left in the dark or lonely places and lifts them up.

Honored by the Northwestern Mutual Community Foundation in 2009 for work done on behalf of Any Baby Can

“What Steve and Ellen bring to Any Baby Can is beyond transformational. As a former Board Member, Steve understands the challenging nature of our work and the impact we have in the community. Their giving is important, but the way they give is what truly defines their philanthropy. Whether they are issuing challenge grants to their network of friends or offering to match the giving of rooms full of strangers, their commitment is infectious. Yes, they give with their hearts- but they give smart.  I cannot overstate our gratitude; Any Baby Can would not be the agency it is today without the long term friendship we have with Steve and Ellen Miura.”
